KILLARA means “Always there”,
and we will be always there for our People – Clients – Communities.

The Killara journey

From humble beginnings in 2017 (as GJK Indigenous Solutions), Killara has achieved commercial independence and business maturity and has evolved to become a certified indigenous business in its own right.

We have evolved, and from the initial support of George Stamas and the executive team at GJK Facility Services, Jasmine Newman is now an Indigenous business owner that has grown Killara to compete on a national scale.

Staying true to George and Jasmine’s vision, today, Killara is one of Australia’s fastest-growing Indigenous cleaning companies – reinforcing the potential of Indigenous-led businesses to create jobs and careers for First Nations Australians and improving cultural understanding across industry.

KILLARA AND GJK FACILITY SERVICES PARTNERSHIP

Killara walks side by side with GJK Facility Services, building a shared culture across both organisations that fosters meaningful engagement with Aboriginal People and Businesses.

By walking the walk together, we are able to provide our clients with bespoke service delivery solutions whether they are after direct engagement of a Certified Indigenous Cleaning company or the experience of a fully Integrated Soft Service business with an accomplished 40 years of trade.

Representing our story

Our story is woven through everything we do as told by the designs and pattern, created by Inyadot Art.

The outer leaves represent time “turning a new leaf, striving to always better ourselves, also the organic lifecycle of all that we persue.”

The centre piece, our inner circle where all is began, represents support and strength. Also pay homage to the owners and partners of Killara.

This pattern below represents “pathways”. We take all different pathways on our journey, we meet many people on the way. We learn lessons and we teach lessons.
